While you’re reading this, P&T/EXPO COMM trade show is still taking place in Beijing, China. ZTE used the event to announce two new Android-powered tablets, while the third-one has been caught at the show floor, though still waits to get the official press release.

The two officially announced devices, marked as V66 and V68, come with 7 and 10-inch capacitive touchscreens, respectively (Vodafone Smart Tabs?). In addition, both rock dual-core processors clocking at 1.2GHz, and we guess other “standard for tablet” goodies like Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, tons of built-in storage, sensors and so on.

However, it’s the third device that we find the most interesting. The reason is obvious — instead of featuring a dual-core processor, the ZTE T98 sports NVidia’s Tegra 3 quad-code chipset. Yep that’s 4 m/f cores in a single processor, something that will make your apps run super fast. Needless to say, this baby hasn’t been announced and I guess we’ll have to wait for another month or so to see such products (with quad-core CPUs) getting the “official treatment.”
